In Nepal all school are still closed due to Covid-19. We let our students tell their story. Bibek tells you more.
My name is Bibek, I am from Kathmandu and I have been living at Maya for seven years now. I am 14 years old and I’m studying in the 7th grade. I’ve been in lockdown for four months already. Playing football with my friends and teachers is the best part of my day. Schools will open after one month and I’m so excited to see my friends and live with them in Maya Home again.
At the beginning of the lockdown, I was living in Damauli with friends, Manjil-sir, Lea-miss and Monsoon. Then I moved up to the village where I saw other friends and enjoyed my freedom playing football and being in nature. I also became a teacher now, I teach Nepali to Guille-sir because he wants to communicate with people in the village. In the morning, I have Maths class and in the afternoon I play with my friends. Then I help my sisters cook dinner in the Old Kitchen. After eating we all watch a series together, called Breaking Bad. I like it because it’s interesting and funny.
