A letter from Mr Saphal Bohora

We're delighted to announce that our friend and math teacher, Mr. Saphal Bohora, has been accepted into the Degree Programme in Construction Engineering at Hame University of Applied Sciences in Finland, commencing in August 2024. In his letter, he reflects on his experiences teaching at Maya. While we'll miss him dearly, we wish him all the best!

I hope this newsletter finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to share my incredible teaching journey and the joyous moments I've experienced over the past six years.

For the last six years, I have had the privilege of teaching Mathematics to enthusiastic students in Maya Universe Academy. It has been an immensely rewarding experience to witness their growth and development, both academically and personally.

Teaching Mathematics has always been my passion, and it is my belief that every child has the potential to excel in this subject with the right guidance and support. I have been fortunate enough to witness firsthand the power of fostering a positive and nurturing learning environment. My students have inspired me with their curiosity, eagerness to learn, and their ability to embrace challenges. This was all possible because of Maya Universe Academy which provided me a platform to impart education among the students and played a significant role in my personal life as well.

When i first came to Maya,I was asked to volunteer for a month but ended up collecting so much experience and didnt even realize it’s been almost six years now. I started my teaching journey for the first time here and I still remember seeing those adorable faces of the students in the morning circle gave me goosebumps.

One of the things that I was able to do here is to set meaningful connections with my students. By building strong relationships, I was able to understand their unique learning styles and tailor my lessons accordingly. This not only ensures their academic success but also fosters a love for the subject.

Throughout my teaching , I have had the pleasure of witnessing remarkable moments of growth among my students. From seeing a struggling student finally grasp a difficult concept to witnessing the collective achievement of the class during exams, every milestone has been a celebration.

I firmly believe that creating a love for learning is equally as important as imparting knowledge. By incorporating interactive activities and hands-on learning experiences, I strive to make each lesson engaging and enjoyable for my students. It brings me immense joy to see their faces light up with excitement as they discover the beauty of learning.

I am incredibly proud of the achievements of my students throughout the years. Many have gone on to pursue higher education in STEM fields, and I am happy to have played a part in their success stories.
As we embark on another academic year,

I am filled with anticipation and excitement for the new set of students I will have the pleasure of teaching. I look forward to creating a nurturing and stimulating environment where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
