Our friend Yoon launched Maya Sapana, an inspiring venture offering exquisite Nepalese cashmere products. Currently expanding to the European market, Maya Sapana seeks stores to showcase their collection. the profits support Maya's mission.
Hello, friends of Maya from around the world. Some of you may know me, while others might not. I'm Yoon, one of the founders and a teacher at Maya.
Apart from teaching, one of my jobs at Maya is to find sustainable means to support the school. Our school is involved in several local businesses such as agriculture and chicken farming, which happen to be small-scale businesses aimed at the Nepali market. The business I manage is a Cashmere venture, which is high-end quality with possibly holding greater outreach in foreign seas, called Maya Sapana.
I'm excited to share that we've just launched our website with new products for the 2023 fall/winter season and we are looking for physical shops in Europe and the U.S. that might be interested in selling our products. The success of this business not only ensures the financial stability of the existing Maya campus but also opens up possibilities to work in the regions we have not worked so far. We're considering the establishment of a school in a mountainous region where parents will be primarily responsible for raising mountain goats so the business can grow and the school can offer education in remote regions. 100% of the profit from the European physical market will go back to the school. One reason we reinvest 100% of the profit is the positive impact it will have on the Korean market, once we establish a physical presence in Europe.
