Meet Nisha Saru Magar: Maya Alumni

Nisha Saru Magar, originally from Udayapur district, began her educational journey at Maya Universe Academy. Today, she's pursuing science studies at Sagarmatha Multiple College in Kathmandu and still part of the Maya family

I am known by the name Nisha Saru Magar and I come from the Udayapur district. My educational voyage embarked at Maya Universe Academy when I was six years old. Raised under the nurturing guidance of my grandparents, my educational pursuit continued until the fourth grade at a branch of the Maya school, situated in the Udayapur district.

Subsequently, an opportunity emerged for me to join Maya her main school located in the Tanahun district. This provided me with the chance to explore and acquire knowledge in various domains such as language, art and craft, and most importantly, fostering love and care within the community. I persisted in my studies there until the eighth grade. In due course, I progressed to Gorakh_kali Awasiya Madhyamik Vidyalaya, nestled in Damauli, Tanahun, where I pursued my studies up to the tenth grade. I successfully completed my Secondary Education Examination (SEE) at this institution.

Maya Universe Academy continued to support me throughout my educational journey, even after my time at Maya. I was able to stay and live at Maya Home, receiving assistance with my homework. In return, I helped take care of the younger students. The educational environment at Maya truly motivated me to keep studying. In particular, the nurse's room at Maya, where I and other students would assist in cleaning wounds and providing medicine to our fellow students, sparked my interest in nursing.

I am therefore very happy to share that at present, I am a student at Sagarmatha Multiple College in Kathmandu, dedicated to a science-based curriculum. Within this new phase of my education, my unwavering commitment to excel and my determination to diligently pursue learning remain constant. I wish to express my gratitude to my extended Mayan family, whose continuous support has been invaluable throughout my journey.
