Hola! Espero que vosotros estéis bien (Hello! I hope you are well). As you might know, Nepal is facing a second wave of the pandemic and it has affected us much more than the first one. I was supposed to have my 10th grade examination, which is taken seriously by all relatives and schools, but because of this situation it is unsure whether I will be able to take the exam. According to the official announcement, it was to take place on the 27th of May, but we already got past that date and there has been no further announcement.
On the bright side, I am living at Maya, where I now have the time and space to develop myself in new ways. For example, I am learning Spanish. I started learning it two years ago but I had forgotten almost everything. Now, I am recalling what I had forgotten as well as learning new things, so I'm having an easy time learning the language. I know, it is going to get hard when we start with the past tense! If you are wondering why I chose Español, it is because I like the language and many people in the world speak it, so it will be nice to talk to them when they visit Nepal.
These days I'm also spending a lot of time reading books. Recently, I read 'Birthday stories', in which Haruki Murakami collects short stories related to birthdays by many different authors. The main character of each birthday had a unique experience. Apart from that, I also enjoy playing board games with the other Mayans who are living here with me, and writing small paragraphs on anything that goes through my mind.
