The Jeep

After the schoolbus, this vehicle has also contributed to Maya’s operations. This multi-tasker reduces our costs because we no longer have to pay for transport of food, school supplies and other necessities. In addition, the jeep brings in income through rental to volunteers and villagers. On top of that, having our own vehicle allows us to mitigate emergencies.

Thanks to the support of the Wild Geese foundation, the Hofstee foundation and the Haëlla foundation, we managed to raise €19.400 for the jeep. With her own jeep Maya has more money left for teachers' salaries. In this way, the jeep also contributes to good education.
